Post-Award Contract Performance & Compliance Review

You won the contract. Now strengthen how you deliver.

A focused review for small businesses performing government contracts. Understand your obligations, examine your performance records, and identify gaps that need attention before they become larger delivery problems.

Discuss Your Contract Review

Complimentary 15-minute scoping call. Confirm package fit before purchase.

One contract. A clearer performance picture.

The Standard Package focuses on one awarded contract or one task/delivery order and the records included in the agreed scope.

  • What must your business deliver—and when?
  • What evidence supports the work performed?
  • Where are responsibilities or records unclear?
  • Which corrective actions deserve priority?

Award is the beginning of the performance commitment.

A signed contract creates a working set of obligations—not just a revenue opportunity. This review helps business owners connect those obligations to the people, records, and processes responsible for delivering the work.

Recently awarded a contract?

Identify obligations, proposed responsible owners, and the records your team needs to maintain.

Already performing?

Examine whether deliverables, reporting, invoice support, and performance documentation align with the reviewed contract or order.

Seeing warning signs?

Bring missed dates, unclear responsibilities, documentation gaps, or customer concerns into a structured review and action plan.

What the review examines

Review areas are tailored to the contract or order, stage of performance, available records, and agreed engagement boundaries. All review documents count toward the package’s total page limit.

Contract obligations & modifications

Map the reviewed award documents, incorporated requirements, and modifications included in scope to deliverables, reporting dates, and responsible team members. Flag ambiguities for clarification through the appropriate channel.

Delivery & performance evidence

Examine schedules, submitted deliverables, acceptance records, and performance documentation for gaps between the stated requirements and the evidence available.

Reporting & customer communications

Review reporting practices, issue logs, and relevant correspondence to identify missed commitments, unresolved concerns, and opportunities for clearer documentation.

Invoice support & payment processes

Examine invoice requirements and supporting records within scope. Identify administrative gaps that could contribute to rejected invoices or payment delays.

Staffing & subcontractor responsibilities

Review assigned responsibilities, documented staffing commitments, and relevant subcontractor coordination records for delivery dependencies and accountability gaps.

Changes, risks & follow-through

Identify how changes and emerging issues are recorded, escalated, and tracked. Recommend priority actions with proposed owners, target dates, and evidence of completion.

How the engagement works

1. Confirm fit & scope

Start with a complimentary 15-minute scoping call about your awarded contract or order, concerns, and available records. Confirm package suitability, review boundaries, document-handling arrangements, fee, and timeline before accepting payment.

2. Kick off & review

After purchase, meet for the included 30-minute kickoff and provide the agreed documents. Emanite examines the evidence and develops the tracker, findings report, and corrective-action plan. Target delivery is 10 business days after complete documents and scope confirmation.

3. Discuss & prioritize

Meet for the included 60-minute findings consultation to discuss results and priorities. Submit one consolidated round of up to five clarification questions about existing findings within 10 business days after the consultation.

Document handling: Do not send classified information, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), credentials, or other restricted material through the consultation calendar, general contact forms, or ordinary email. Document suitability and an approved transfer method must be agreed before submission.

Before you engage

What does the review cost, and how long does it take?

The Standard Package is $1,500 as a one-time payment. It covers one awarded contract or one task/delivery order, up to 150 total pages, and up to 90 days of performance records within the current performance period. Target delivery is 10 business days after complete documents and scope confirmation. Package suitability is confirmed before payment is accepted.

Is the scoping call included in the paid kickoff?

The complimentary 15-minute scoping call takes place before purchase to discuss fit and scope. It does not include document review or advisory findings. The Standard Package separately includes one 30-minute kickoff after purchase.

What follow-up support is included?

The package includes one 60-minute findings consultation and one consolidated round of up to five clarification questions about existing findings, submitted within 10 business days after that consultation. New document review, expanded review questions, implementation assistance, and ongoing monitoring are separate services. Corrections to Emanite’s own work remain included.

What if my documents exceed the package limits?

Additional document review is $300 per 50-page block for the same contract and review questions. An additional historical period is $400 per additional 90 days and includes up to 50 additional pages and related findings. Pages included in another addition are not charged again. Added scope, quantity, fee, and revised delivery date must be accepted in writing before additional work begins. There are no automatic overages.

Is this a government audit or certification?

No. This is an advisory review based on the agreed scope and the records provided. It does not provide a government determination, audit assurance opinion, or certification of compliance.

Does the review guarantee that I will keep my contract?

No. The service helps identify gaps and strengthen performance practices. It does not guarantee payment, favorable performance ratings, option exercise, renewal, or protection from termination.

How is this different from Procurement Forensics?

Procurement Forensics examines broader procurement processes, decisions, controls, and organizational risk. This review focuses on your business’s performance against one awarded contract or one task/delivery order and its supporting records.

What if I need ongoing support or have several contracts?

Each additional contract or order requires a separate $1,500 Standard Package. Corrective-action implementation and recurring monitoring require separate scopes and fees. They are not included automatically in the initial review.

What if there is an active dispute or urgent notice?

Disclose any active notice, dispute, or response deadline during scoping. This service is not legal representation and does not extend contractual deadlines. Matters requiring legal advice should be directed to qualified counsel.
