Following the 2008 real estate crash, which significantly impacted her family’s business, our founder, Emanièce Gordon, transitioned into government contracting—securing her first micro-purchase contract with the State of Maryland. What began as a strategic pivot quickly became a long-term path into government procurement.

Emanièce went on to serve over a decade inside government as a procurement professional, where she was directly involved in the evaluation, award, and management of contracts. During her tenure, she contributed to the oversight and execution of more than $2.5 billion in contract awards supporting both large and small businesses.

This firsthand experience provides Emanite Enterprise Solutions with a distinct perspective—one grounded in how procurement decisions are actually made. Today, we leverage that insight to guide organizations in understanding acquisition requirements, strengthening their positioning, and approaching government contracting with clarity and structure.
